In the city that he has called home for over 10 years, Josh has connected and worked with many artists such as: Macy Gray, De la Soul, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Justin Timberlake, Will.i.am, Rhianna, Estelle, Kanye West, Nikka Costa ect….

He has always been a composer, and during this time of touring and recording sessions with these and other artists, Josh was continuously writing his own music and recording it at home and in various studios and hotel rooms around the world. This collection of songs was inspired by those travelling experiences, breakups, as well as his battles with addiction and loneliness.

Moving from sideman to musical director to co-writer his career culminated in a Grammy nomination for Song of the year in 2009 for “American Boy” by Estelle featuring Kanye West and co-written and produced by will.i.am from The Black Eyed Peas.
